Diane is a twenty-year retail
fashion veteran who has bought and managed for high-end specialty stores and clearance centers alike.
Her career has taken her to
international cities to see runway shows, shoe markets, and lingerie fairs. Ultimately her love of writing settled her in
southern California where she has time to follow the people in her head — whether
they’re finding dead bodies, dressing up like space girls, swearing off marriage, singing in nightclubs, or fighting
crime -- and tell their stories.
The themes of her work hover around
the quest to find oneself. An active member of Sisters in Crime, Romance Writers of America, ChickLit Writers of the
World, and Guppies, she launched her own detective agency at ten years old and has maintained a passion for shoes, clues and
clothes ever since. In 2009 her manuscript JUST KIDDING won the Chick Lit Writers’ Get Your Stiletto in the Door contest,
and her short story IDENTITY CRISIS has been accepted for an upcoming anthology penned by writers of the mystery genre.
